Eel River Disposal is a locally owned solid waste and recycling company. We have been operating in Humboldt County for the past 25 years. We are a fully integrated collection company offering residential, commercial and industrial solid waste collection services. We also offer recycling collection & processing, green waste collection & processing, and operate solid waste transfer facilities and state certified "buy-back" recycling centers.
At Eel River Disposal you have many different recycling and disposal options.
At our Recycling Center we buyback all of your CRV bottles and cans, we also buy Copper, Copper Wire, Brass, Scrap Aluminum, Radiators, Aluminum Wheels, Electric Motors, Stainless Steel, and Automotive Batteries.
At our Drop off, you can also recycle your non-CRV Glass and Plastic Bottles, Tin Cans, Newspaper/Magazines, Cardboard, Junk mail/Office paper, Appliances. (There is a charge for Freon appliances).
We also provide low cost shredding for all your confidential material. You can bring it in or we have lockable containers to give you a safe, cost-effective way to store and protect your documents, and valuable information on site.

At the main office you can pay your bill, sign up for weekly service and get information on all the services we provide at any of our locations. The Transfer Station and Recycling Center is open Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm and Saturday and Sunday 9:00am to 4:00pm.
